WWE returns live tonight with the 35th edition of SummerSlam live from Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee airing on the WWE Network on Peacock.
This is the first major WWE show to take place in the post-Vince McMahon era.
The event will feature 8 matches, with a Kickoff Show beginning at 7:00 p.m. Eastern/6:00 Central and the main show starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern/7:00 Central.
Scheduled for tonight’s card is Roman Reigns defending the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing Match. WWE is promoting that this will be the final time both men will compete against one another. We’ll also see Liv Morgan defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey, Logan Paul return to action against The Miz, and Pat McAfee battle Happy Corbin.
It’s time for WWE’s biggest party of the summer, Summerslam 2022! Taking place at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, WWE’s PPV–or PLE (Premium Live Event)–is airing live on Peacock. With five WWE Championships on the line over the course of the July 30 evening, there will be a lot to keep track of. The biggest match on the card is Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns taking on Brock Lesnar for both of the head of the table’s titles. These aren’t the first two have faced each other, one on one, at a PPV. They’ve squared off against each other at Wrestlemania 31 (2015), Wrestlemania 34 (2018), Greatest Royal Rumble (2018), Summerslam (2018), Crown Jewel (2021), and Wrestlemania 38 (2022). But no matter how this battle goes, the outcome may very well be Theory cashing in his Money in the Bank contract and walking away with both titles.
